Portrait of a Young Pomegranate

This is one of my favorite art photographs. I love the colors and textures, and the sharp focus of the fruit against the out of focus background. And the flower/fruit itself is so facinating, with such rich, supple flesh. I also like calling it "Portrait of a Young Pomegranate" - that makes it even better in my mind :-)

Pastoral

Pastoral - Acrylic

I created this painting during a Teacher Training workshop that Theatre Of Hearts was conducting for one of the schools we work with. It was great to take a break and make some art! Everyone in the training was mostly impressed with the sky. I like the hills, personally. This was created under the instruction of Teresa Tolliver - a great artist and teacher!

Canyonlands

Canyonlands - Watercolor

I actually dreamed of this painting. It doesn't look quite like it did in the dream, but it's not bad for a first attempt, I'd say. I really like watercolor. I'm going to try to take a class sometime soon.
